I've lost count of how many hours I've played elector for, but I finally got through it. Near the 1900 mark I noticed that I no longer had an over stock of books for my patricians and nobleman and thought I was going to piss off the nobleman just as I hit the magic number. One thing that was bothering that I have no idea how to fix it.

Even though I must have built at least 6 hemp farms and 3 tailors I never had any clothing in storage. I dedicated one island to the sole task of bread and beer making and once again I could never keep this well stock. Something tells me that my ratio of buildings was off but does anyone have any hindsight into what I did wrong? This is the best game I've ever played! At the moment I'm half way trough 'Imperator' scenario and I've been playing for 4 days now.My goal is to fit 10 000 Noblemen on one Island and 10 000 Envoys on the other big Island. The Envoys will fit, but I'm not so sure about the Noblemen because Occident cities take more space. Has anyone tried doing this?

I have a few questions about the Quests! Sometimes it shows me how many Metropolis quests I've done and sometimes it doesn't.Why is that? Maybe a bug in the game? How long it takes for The Emperor and The Sultan to give you all the required 15 Quests? Chano: This is the best game I've ever played! Has anyone tried doing this? I've done it on a continuous game, once. Basically, you manage to get 10k nobles by virtue of the attainments from the Vizier and from Hassan magnifying all the advancements you can make from the presence of your numerous Envoys and Beggars. Mystery: I've done it on a continuous game, once. Basically, you manage to get 10k nobles by virtue of the attainments from the Vizier and from Hassan magnifying all the advancements you can make from the presence of your numerous Envoys and Beggars. Due to the attainments I don't have a single peasant house.I finally finished the 'Imperator' scenario:-) It has been a long long ride:-) I couldn't manage to fit 10k of Noblemen on one island cause I ran out of space and I didn't have the nerve.

I'll have a break now!!! One month of playing non-stop is enough! Based largely on the raves from this forum, I downloaded this game.

I guess I've been playing to much FO3 and Civ 4,but after spending the 6 or so hours (plus the demo) I am really not sure why, it has gotten the rave reviews. I understand that documentation is bad, but is really non-existent?
